Red dress, black dress, red bikini, bikini, pants … pants?

Salma Hayek was all over the beach in the Dominican Republic this week, wearing the final look from her latest movie, “House of Gucci,” which focuses on her drug-running days as a member of the Medellin Cartel.

The iconic actress, who appears naked in the film, posed in the Womenswear Swimwear by Monique Lhuillier suit with jeans and thigh-high boots for the cover of The New York Times Magazine.

“I’ll give up my clothes for nothing,” Hayek told the magazine. “It’s a kind of patriotism, in that it reminds me that it’s alright to not be what everyone expects. If I took my clothes off, I wouldn’t be this representative for the world.”

In the movie, Hayek plays Dr. Rose Russo, a surgeon who serves as the high-ranking liaison between the cartel and its victims. The hitman chosen to hunt down the cartel’s victims recruits her to help smuggle body parts of the missing into the US.

The actress wore an elegant short black dress for the film’s premiere on July 24, also attended by Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.

Sand, palm trees and cocktail parties

“House of Gucci” co-stars Odessa Young and Sandrine Holt in the directorial debut of Sandro Petraglia and Francesca Gregorini, who drew inspiration from the vignettes in Francois Truffaut’s 1969 film “La Femme Nikita,” which took place in a fancy French hotel.

To coordinate the image, male and female swimmers wear the same bikini styles, but men (and women) are allowed to show a little skin. Those who opt for not wearing a shirt but wearing only a triangle-shaped bikini from Chanel, for example, pose posing on the beach in front of a large picture of famous French novelist, René Descartes.

Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Dior are also on the designer docket, with names like Nilufer Demir, Alessandra Sartori, Ralph and Russo and Rick Owens of Balenciaga taking place in photographs from the film. Models Bella Hadid, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner also grace the cover of the magazine.

Fashion-lover Hayek is also involved in the movie’s promotion as executive producer.

“House of Gucci” is due to hit theaters on September 20 in the US.
