Christina Haack — The Last Name Change

Christina Haack — The Last Name Change

Why did Christina change her last name to Haack? The ‘Flip or Flop’ star has used four different last names since graduating from high school.

Christina Haack – she’s been on everyone’s radar ever since she became a household name for performing a high-impact flip in mid air on “Flip or Flop” last year. The “Shake It” star just finished her third album, “My Heart, My World,” that dropped earlier this month. If her previous name, Kaelin “Kiki” Hoagland, was ever used to an extent in your life, you’re probably not aware of the fact.

That comes from the fact that in 2009 the then 16-year-old Haack adopted her middle name, Christina, and used it on her birth certificate instead of her middle name, Kaelin. She later took a more public name change, becoming Christina “Kiki” Hoagland, before later changing her name back to Haack.

The star’s story starts at a young age and grew even more complex once she started performing at the age of 15. But this isn’t the first time she changed her last name. It is just the latest in an entire string of different combinations.

Here’s how it went down:

Christina Kaelin Haack

Christina’s birth certificate reads “Christina Kaelin Haack, born April 2, 1982, Phoenix, Arizona.” However, it also says she was named Kiki Hoagland.

And then, after her sophomore year, Christina decided it’d be best to take her middle name, Christina, off of her birth certificate since it didn’t have a ring attached to it.
