Donna Vekic will be the first winner of the Women’s Handball world title, the final edition of the world title of the top-tier competition in women’s world handball.
Donna Vekic, born on June 5, 1989 in Sarajevo, will be the first winner of the Women’s Handball world title. The final edition of the world title of the top-tier competition in women’s world handball.
The championship was a three-way battle between world champions, world champions and world champions. With World Champions from Serbia and Brazil and the European champions from Croatia, Greece and Poland and the world champion from Hungary. All the world and European teams had participated in the main competition in Copenhagen, Denmark, this autumn.
Donna Vekic said that after the final competition in Copenhagen she had to go on holidays with her family. But then Vekic and her husband had an idea to hold a competition. She said: “I decided to continue after the competition because I had no plans for the rest of my life.”

It was planned to have the world champion from Hungary. Vekic said: “After Copenhagen in October I had no idea whether I would be able to go on or not. I decided to travel with my family to Hungary, because it was a new place for me.”
